Remembering Our Fallen Heroes

Thinking of those who paid the ultimate price this Memorial Day.....and what a wonderful country in which we live because of them!  Although we can't thank them, we can thank the ones they've left behind and let them know their loved ones are not forgotten.

I will be taking a couple of days off from blogging because of our house project....it's getting to the nitty-gritty, down-and-dirty stuff, so I want to be able to help wherever and whenever I can!  Our kitchen is now set up in the garage---it's a bit cozy and there's no dishwasher, but it is really not a bad setup at all!  The walls between the living room and new kitchen will be down tomorrow and I am beginning to get a feel of how big it will be! I'll be back when the dust settles...literally!

Have a blessed day!

I can relate to the kitchen in the garage from when we remodeled our kitchen. Also had the fridge in the living room, table set up in a bedroom with the coffee pot, etc. Did use the bath tub a couple of times to do dishes, used paper plates a lot & microwaved & used the grill a lot also. Good luck with the remodel, you'll love it once it's done. Oh and it also gives you a reason not to clean the rest of the house because of all the dust.
